This is a demo of head orientation monitoring. The orientation of the head is calculated from sensors in the Google Glass. This web page is generated by a web server running on the Google Glass as well as all the calculations. The 3D visualisation is computed on your computers graphic card by WebGL. You need a web browser that supports WebGL. The page was tested on Chrome 33 and Firefox 27.
If you are experiencing lags in the visualisation, then your wifi connection is loosing some packets and because the transmission is done by TCP/IP protocol and there is a timeout for receiving acknowledke packet, which may be sometimes lost, the lags can be quite long (several seconds).
Current calculation of the head orientation is implemented as integrating values from the gyroscope. The values of the gyroscope are drifting in the time, so when you feel that the orientation is inaccurate, launch calibration in the Google Glass.
